Tim Hortons Smiles for STEGH!

Tim Hortons Smiles for STEGH!
Smile Cookie Week Exceed Expectations Again!

St. Thomas, ON – In September, Tim Hortons franchises across Canada held their annual Smile Cookie Week to raise funds for local charities. For the fourth year in a row, St. Thomas’ Tim Hortons locations came together to raise $36,000 for patient care at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital. This amazing fundraiser has raised more than $127,000 in four years!

Tim Hortons is a committed community partner, and this gift will help us equip our staff with the right equipment and tools they need to support our patients’ healthcare. The proceeds from this year’s Smile Cookies will support STEGH’s Women & Children’s Unit.

“We are all smiles again! What incredible support from the local Tim Hortons franchises and our community. Every year we are amazed by the response to the Smile Cookie Week and everyone’s support for OUR Hospital,” explains Paul Jenkins, Executive Director, STEGH Foundation. “The STEGH Foundation wishes to thank Diane Stewart and Brian Tisdelle, their committed staff, and customers for this incredibly generous gift to support STEGH’s Women & Children’s Unit,” he adds.

The St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation continues the important work with our community partners to raise funds for patient care equipment – from monitors and beds, to equipment for procedures, and much more – supporting OUR Hospital is our top priority, and working with good corporate partners such as Tim Hortons, helps us succeed in carrying out our mission.

“Smile Cookie week is always an incredible week to see how our community comes together to support the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital. The success of Tim Hortons and the Smile Cookie Week is contributed to the hard work and dedication of our local employees, and the generosity of our patrons,” explains Diane Stewart, Owner, Tim Hortons. “On behalf of Tim Hortons, we would like to thank all of our customers for their incredible support for the Smile Cookie Campaign and Hospital.”

The community is invited to join with our good corporate citizens in support of the incredible transformations taking place at STEGH. There are many ways for individuals, businesses and civic organizations to get involved and the best place to start is by visiting ItsOURHospital.ca.
