St. Thomas, ON – In September, Tim Hortons franchises across Canada held their annual Smile Cookie Week to raise funds for local charities. For the fifth year in a row, St. Thomas’ Tim Hortons locations came together and raised more than $44,000 for Women and Children’s Services at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital. More than $170,000 has been raised over the five years.
Tim Hortons is a committed community partner, and this gift will help us equip our staff with the right equipment and tools they need to support our patients’ healthcare. The proceeds from this year’s Smile Cookie campaign will benefit STEGH’s Women & Children’s Services and will help support the purchase of new Birthing Beds.

The St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation continues the important work with our community partners to raise funds for patient care equipment – from patient beds, to equipment for procedures, and much more – supporting OUR Hospital is our top priority, and working with good corporate partners such as Tim Hortons, helps us succeed in carrying out our mission.
