Second Charity Euchre Tournament a
Tremendous Success in Support of OUR Hospital

St. Thomas, ON – For the second year in a row, Novus Rehab and Siskinds LLP joined together to host a one-of-a-kind charity euchre tournament. On October 18th, local businesses and community partners came together for a night of fun and raised $18,826 for cancer care at OUR Hospital.

“This is community partnership and philanthropy at its finest. Novus Rehab and Siskinds LLP put together a first class event. The tournament was fun, and even though I kept getting euchred, it was a fabulous evening in support of patient care at STEGH,” explains Paul Jenkins, Executive Director. “To recognize the importance of supporting local healthcare can’t be understated and everyone certainly demonstrated that with their involvement with the tournament.”

“Novus Rehab and Siskinds LLP have partnered together for years to support the health and well-being of the local communities we serve. Our euchre tournament continues to grow, and we are already looking forward to next year’s tournament,” states Larry Norton, Director, Novus Rehab. “We’re committed to being good community partners, and excellent local healthcare is a cause close to our hearts.”

The St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation works closely with philanthropically minded community members and good corporate citizens to successfully raise funds to support critical investments at OUR Hospital. Every year, the STEGH Foundation transfers funds to the Hospital to support the purchase of patient care equipment, invest in the training of front-line staff, and assist in the physical infrastructure upgrades needed in order to respond to advances in healthcare.

Without the generosity of good folks like Novus Rehab & Siskinds LLP, our Mission of partnering with the community to support OUR Hospital would be impossible. Please join the many donors and community partners to make a lasting impact on OUR healthcare. Visit ItsOURHospital.ca to donate today.

Novus Rehab is a team of experienced health care professionals who provide rehabilitation services to our clientele following injury or illness; most often this work occurs after a motor vehicle accident. Legislative changes in automobile insurance policies often make it difficult for people to understand and maneuver the system. Our caring staff will provide assistance at all levels so that you receive the treatment that you need and can focus on getting better. We collaborate with your insurance company, legal representative, workplace/school and treating practitioners to ensure that you and your family are fully supported. In most cases, your treatment is fully funded by your automobile insurance. Our clinical staff work across Southwestern and Central Ontario, essentially from the Toronto area to Sarnia/Windsor and north to Owen Sound. Visit novusrehab.ca for more information.

Siskinds’ approach is all about feeling welcomed. It’s how you should feel the moment you contact us or meet a Siskinds lawyer. It’s one of those anti-stereotype personality traits that defines our firm. Our space is your space, our expertise are open to you, our commitment to you is deeply genuine. What you need to know beyond that is best expressed by a simple belief that is shared by all Siskinds lawyers and our team of support staff, whatever your legal needs.
