STEGH Foundation 50/50 Raffle
OFFICIAL RULES OF PLAY 2020/2021

RULES OF PLAY FOR DRAW # 1-12 License # 12102

  1. Purchaser must be 18 years or older to play.
  2. Tickets will be sold using an electronic raffle system supplied by Ascend Fundraising Solutions.
  3. Tickets can be purchased online only through the STEGH Foundation website at www.ItsOURHospital.ca.

    • Draw #1: Ticket Sales – Starting October 1 at 11:00 a.m. to October 30 at 9:00 a.m. Draw to take place on October 30, 2020 at 11:30 am. The winning prize will be half of the sales.
    • Draw #2: Ticket Sales – Starting November 2 at 9:00 a.m. to November 30 at 9:00 a.m. Draw to take place on November 30, 2020 at 11:30 am. The winning prize will be half of the sales.
    • Draw #3: Ticket Sales – Starting December 1 at 9:00 a.m. to December 22 at 9:00 a.m. Draw to take place on December 22, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. The winning prize will be half of the sales.
    • Draw #4: Ticket Sales – Starting January 6 at 9:00 a.m. to January 29 at 9:00 a.m. Draw to take place on January 29, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. The winning prize will be half of the sales.
    • Draw #5: Ticket Sales – Starting February 1 at 9:00 a.m. to February 26 at 9:00 a.m. Draw to take place on February 26, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. The winning prize will be half of the sales.
    • Draw #6: Ticket Sales – Starting March 1 at 9:00 a.m. to March 31 at 9:00 a.m. Draw to take place on March 31, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. The winning prize will be half of the sales.
    • Draw #7: Ticket Sales – Starting April 1 at 9:00 a.m. to April 30 at 9:00 a.m. Draw to take place on April 30, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. The winning prize will be half of the sales.
    • Draw #8: Ticket Sales – Starting May 3 at 9:00 a.m. to May 31 at 9:00 a.m. Draw to take place on May 31, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. The winning prize will be half of the sales.
    • Draw #9: Ticket Sales – Starting June 1 at 9:00 a.m. to June 30 at 9:00 a.m. Draw to take place on June 30, 2021 at 11::30 a.m. The winning prize will be half of the sales.
    • Draw #10: Ticket Sales – Starting July 5 at 9:00 a.m. to July 30 at 9:00 a.m. Draw to take place on July 30, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. The winning prize will be half of the sales.
    • Draw #11: Ticket Sales – Starting August 3 at 9:00 a.m. to August 31 at 9:00 a.m. Draw to take place on August 31, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. The winning prize will be half of the sales.
    • Draw #12: Ticket Sales – Starting September 1 at 9:00 a.m. to September 30 at 9:00 a.m. Draw to take place on September 30, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. The winning prize will be half of the sales.
  4. Tickets can be purchased for $5 for 3 numbers, $10 for 10 numbers, $20 for 60 numbers. Credit Cards will be accepted online at www.ItsOURHospital.ca. All ticket sales are final.
  5. After buying, patrons will be given by the sellers, a receipt with their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.
  6. The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for the draw.
  7. STEGH Foundation Staff and Board of Directors, as well as STEGH Board of Directors and family members living in the same household are not permitted to purchase tickets and are not eligible to win.
  8. One cash prize will be awarded for each draw and the winning ticket will be posted on the www.ItsOURHospital.ca website . If information about the winner is collected at the point of sale, the winner will be contacted directly.
  9. The winning ticket holder has 6 months in which to claim their prize from the date of the draw their ticket was purchased.
  10. The winner must provide his/her name, address and phone number with picture identification for our report sheet and send it to susan.warden@stegh.on.ca or call 519.631.2030 ext. 2395. Once the certified winner is verified, and provides identification with photo ID, they will be given a cheque in the amount of the declared prize which is 50% of the total sales for that game. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such time as identification can be provided.
  11. In the event that no winner comes forward, the winning stub will be kept in a safe and held for 6 months. After that time period has elapsed the prize will be donated to a local charity with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO)
